Terms & Conditions - Dubai pitch at Zentral

1. Organizer

The Pitch Contest (“Contest”) is organized by The Zentral FZCO, a licensed business center operating within the Dubai World Trade Centre Authority (DWTCA) Free Zone, United Arab Emirates.

2. Eligibility

Open to individuals aged 18 years and above who are residents of, or eligible to establish a business in, the UAE. Employees, agents, or contractors of Zentral FZCO and their immediate families are not eligible. Zentral reserves the right to verify participant eligibility at any time.

3. Entry Rules

Each participant or team may submit one (1) entry only. Participants must visit Zentral’s premises during the contest period and record a one-minute pitch video on-site. Entries must be original, and participants must hold all rights to their submitted idea and materials. Submission of an entry constitutes unconditional acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

4. Evaluation and Judging

All eligible entries will be evaluated by a panel of judges appointed by Zentral. Evaluation criteria may include innovation, feasibility, market potential, and presentation quality. The judges’ decision shall be final, binding, and not subject to appeal. Zentral reserves the right not to award a prize if no suitable entry meets the required standards.

5. Prize Details

The winning participant will receive a Zentral Business Setup Package valued at approximately USD 10,000, which may include: a Free Business License in DWTCA (subject to DWTCA approval and regulatory compliance), Workspace at Zentral FZCO for one year, Bank account opening assistance, and Market access and business support services. The prize is non-transferable, non-refundable, and not redeemable for cash or other services. The business license component covers Zentral’s & government license fees only; any third-party, or visa-related costs shall be borne by the winner. If the winner fails to meet DWTCA’s eligibility or documentation requirements, Zentral may, at its discretion, select an alternate winner or cancel the prize.

6. Intellectual Property

Entrants retain ownership of their ideas. However, entries are considered non-confidential, and Zentral assumes no obligation of confidentiality. By entering, participants grant Zentral a perpetual, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, and display the submitted videos, names, and likenesses for marketing, promotional, and media purposes without further consent or compensation.

7. Privacy and Data

Personal data collected during registration will be used solely for contest administration and marketing related to Zentral. It will not be shared with unaffiliated third parties without consent, except as required by law.

8. Disqualification and Cancellation

Zentral reserves the right to disqualify entries that are incomplete, infringe intellectual property rights, or are deemed misleading, inappropriate, or offensive. Zentral may modify, suspend, or cancel the Contest in whole or in part due to unforeseen circumstances including but not limited to technical issues, force majeure, or regulatory directives.

9. Liability and Indemnity

Zentral FZCO shall not be liable for any loss, damage, or injury of any kind arising from participation in the Contest or acceptance/use of the prize. No warranties, express or implied, are made regarding the business success, profitability, or continuity of the winning venture. Participants agree to indemnify and hold harmless Zentral FZCO, its affiliates, employees, and partners from any claims or liabilities arising from their participation or use of the prize.
 
10. Governing Law
These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of the United Arab Emirates. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Courts of Dubai.
